Everything was delicious! Despite a full parking lot, we didn’t wait long for a table. Chicken wings were huge and the veggie sides were seasoned well. My burger was gigantic and topped with everything. The appetizer potato skins were fresh and very cheesy-definitely sharing size! The staff was very friendly and attentive. Our drinks were always full of delicious strawberry lemonade that had actual strawberries. Very affordable and large portions. Highly recommend.

Went here around noon service was terrible waitress couldn't get our order right had the weirdest nacho supreme ever chicken wings had a couple that were undercooked my coke was damn near all ice took for ever to get our food and not to mention the price was ludicrous! Wont be back for sure

Home town eating, can’t be any better than that. The Brown Lantern is a friendly place to go day or night, to eat with family or with your Boss. The food is wonderful.

I was quite happy to find this restaurant while traveling on business. Great food, good drinks, friendly and seemingly happy staff. I had a great meal, left full, and the meal was at a great price.

Great Scallops and Shrimp. The New York Salad is amazing as well. The bar is the best in town.

Those folks in there are very hospitable and you can actually have a conversation with him and they'll take time out to talk to you and answer your questions they serve good drinks

Had fish sandwich.. Big serving of fish . refills on sweet tea without asking. Wait staff was attentive on a busy lunch hour.

This is my bestest ever go-to place for great food with casual dining atmosphere. The menu offers many options for everyone. Just a notable note: Not open on weekends!!

Absolutely perfect....The shrimp and scallops were perfect. The margaritas are great and the cocktail sauce with the horseradish was perfect. It does take a few extra minutes to get your food but that's because they cook it fresh and it's worth every penny....🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

I live 3 hours away but it’s tradition my boyfriend and I eat at the brown Lantern each time we come up for a festival at Suwanne, which has been for the last 5 years! I absolutely love their grilled vegetables and chicken- some of the most perfect seasoned crispy chicken I have tried when traveling. I cannot wait to visit again this October !

Those chicken wings are worth the drive alone and the burger was freakin awesome! They even have the awesome crushed ice and I think their ranch is homemade. This place is so good you have to stop in if you're in Live Oak. Great staff and a really comfortable atmosphere. The owners have hit a home run with this place.

Brown Lantern has outstanding seafood and burgers. Oysters and shrimp are cooked perfect everytime. The grilled veggies are delicious.

Staff was great place was great. Order Tacos the grease dripping was a mess wouldn't recommend them. Sweet tea was great. Daughter got Chicken salad sandwich which was good.

This was my first time here. My children and I really enjoyed our food. My son ordered the wings. I tasted one OMG I had to order me some. They were the best I ever had. Love Brown Lantern.

One mistake the waitress did not wait and ask my husband to cut into the New York strip, he ordered medium well but they gave him medium rare. So he did not eat it and took it home to our dog. Danny doesn't like to make a fuss so he didn't say anything. My fish was perfect however. Just tell her to ask the person to cut into and check their steak before she rushes off please.

The person who recommended the Brown Lantern also recommended the shrimp sandwich. For your first visit don't even look at the menu, just order the sandwich. You will not regret it!

amazing restaurant! This restaurant was packed when we arrived. Our waitress was very friendly. The food was very delicious. French fries were very crispy. We left very full and happy.

Friendly service and cozy atmosphere. Food quality could use some work. Ordered the voodoo shrimp app it seemed to have been sitting in the freezer for a while.. tasted old and freezerburnt

Very good place for food in live oak FL. Food was very fresh and they prepare food quickly. Food serving was also quick. Price was very fair compare to other venues and atmoshpere was also good. I tried their chef salad and it was so delicious.

Nice local restaurant.....Burgers, Steak, Seafood...etc. Plus a well stocked bar and some really hot waitresses.....😊

Been around the world. That is the coldest draft beer & the best fried shrimp I’ve ever tasted. The cole slaw is very good. Perfect dressing. I rarely rate any place 5 stars, B.L. deserves it. Granted I haven’t tried everything on menu. I intend to try. Took my girlfriend who’d never been to Live Oak. She agreed & wants to take friends. Sign by door “ Be Nice Or Go Home.”Amen. Love it.

GREATLY RECOMMEND! **WILL REVISIT!**I visited on Christmas Eve a little after noon. They were steady. Restrooms were clean and they supplied paper towels which I prefer after washing my hands. Waiters were nice. I ordered a water with lemons. Styrofoam cups. My waitress kept it full with plenty of refills. My coworker order fried pickles with Ranch. They were delish and had a slight spicy kick. Very good. For lunch I order the Black and Blue Burger with grilled vegetables. Overall good; blue cheese was a little over powering the taste of the meat. I split the appetizer and had a burger with side for about $14 without tip. Little pricey but a lot of food.Also noticed the full bar with several TVs.

They have very flavorful food. I recommend this eatery to anyone wanting a good meal, friendly service and reasonable prices.

The food is delicious service is excellent even when they are very busy lunch time and Friday nites are very busy so if you are in a hurry your wait time will be a little longer only downfall is they are not open or Saturday or Sunday.

What a great place!—Hunter was an amazing server and the food was hot, incredibly tasty, and well-priced. This place is an institution for a reason—definitely stop here and support a great local mom n’ pop :)

Can't believe I read some negative reviews of this place. The food was actually excellent and the service was on point.Very friendly atmosphere. Definitely will return when i'm back in town.
